Ça prolonge notre mémoire comme le télescope prolonge notre œil. – Pierre Perrault Perrault came to film through the microphone, which he conceived as a guarantor of memory, country and parlance. Using Nicolas Bernier’s video based on Catherine Chaumont’s prints, I invited four musicians to express their perception of the moving pictures. These recordings were transformed into a landscape of sound.
