Jacques Poulin-Denis is a composer, a dancer and a stage artist. He completed his studies in dance, theatre and a degree in electroacoustic composition from the University of Montreal. Jacques attempts to fulfil projects that blur the boundaries between these disciplines. In addition to his live music projects, and personal compositions, he has been very active as sound designer for theatre and dance, working closely with Mélanie Demers, Denis Marleau and Ginette Laurin.
Jacques Poulin-Denis’ artistic vision is characterized by the quest for what is essentially human, expressing the strength of vulnerability.
